Hi! I'm Christina, and welcome to ChriskaYoga! Today, I am sharing an upper body yoga flow routine done to "You Need to Calm Down" by Taylor Swift.
I wanted to do a routine to this song because I really like the message. I think that there is absolutely no time or place for bullies. Whether it's internet bullies, in-person bullies, child bullies, adult bullies, upstairs neighbor bullies, driver bullies... whatever it is, it is not right.
Being a human being is difficult, and we ALL go through that experience. Just because you are having a tough time or don't agree with someone, does not mean that you have to take it out on others. Your mean-spirited comments or actions can have a VERY negative effect on the person you are targeting. You have no idea what kind of personal struggles or internal battles that person is going through.
SO... here is your reminder to always choose kindness. Even if this person is not kind to you, just be the bigger person and choose kindness anyway. Yes, we all snap sometimes and say things that we don't mean, but there is no need to be consciously vicious. You are better than that. Period.
