30 Minute Intermediate Vinyasa Yoga Flow to Start Fresh

Hi! I'm Christina, and welcome to my yoga YouTube channel, ChriskaYoga! This yoga video is a 35 minute (30 min - 40 min) yoga flow class in the style of vinyasa flow. This is a great way to warm up your muscles, strengthen your body, energize you, relax and stretch, burn fat, and lose weight. It also will promote relaxation and stress relief. It is in the level of intermediate, but you can practice if you are a strong beginner.

We'll begin in child's pose (balasana) and then come into cat and cow poses as a warm up. Next we will take a downward facing dog pose (adho mukha svanasana) into high lunge on both sides (crescent lunge). Then we'll hold plank pose and down dog before taking a few sun breaths. 

Next, we'll come into 2 modified sun salutations (surya namaskara a) and several modified sun salutation b's (surya namaskara b). These will include high lunge, warrior 2 (virabhadrasana II), triangle pose (trikonasana), side angle pose (uttitha parsvakonasana). Then we will flow from tree pose (vrksasana) into warrior 3 (virabhadrasana III) before taking a seat on the ground. 

To cool down, we will take a forward bend in dandasana, and a seated twist in half lord of the fishes pose (ardha matsyasana) on both sides. Then we will come to laying on our backs for supine pigeon pose on both sides with a twist as well before coming into savasana for a meditation.
